Bupleurum

Bupleurum is a chartreuse, flowering plant, often used as bright filler in bouquets. 

ORIGIN: Bupleurum, also known as Thoroughwax, is native to East Asia, sand is a member of the Apiaceae family.  It is a primary ingredient in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, used to relieve fever, hemorrhoids, liver stagnation, and indigestion.

AVAILABILITY: Spring through summer

CARE & HANDLING: Remove all foliage that will be sitting below the water line.  Cut stems and place in a clean container with room-temperature water.  Keep in cool location out of direct sunlight and protect from hot or cold drafts.
