Agapanthus bloom in large, round clusters of white or blue-purple flowers atop strong, tall stems.  Commonly known as the Lily of the Nile, African Blue Lily, and African Lily, the genus Agapanthus contains about 10 species. 

ORIGIN: Agapanthus is native to South Africa.  The name Agapanthus translates to "Flower of Love," as it comes from the Greek, agape, meaning love, and anthos, meaning flower.

AVAILABILITY: Spring to Fall

CARE & HANDLING: Remove all foliage that will be sitting below the water line.  Cut stems and place in a clean container with room-temperature water.  Keep in cool location out of direct sunlight and drafts.  Replenish water as needed.
